Most home purchases on Maui close 30 to 60 days after an offer is accepted, with cash transactions sometimes closing in as little as 12 to 14 days and financed purchases occasionally running 45 days on average and sometimes past 60 days, depending on the lender and loan type. 

That's the short answer. What actually happens during those 30 to 60 days, and what pushes a closing longer or shorter, is worth understanding whether we're on the buying or selling side of the transaction.
