People descend from the entrance down a short hillside to reach the Pacific Ocean. Maui County recently refurbished an ADA-accessible ramp to ensure everyone enjoys excellent access to this beach.

A fine covering of sand extends offshore, making this location ideal for swimming, snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, and other water activities.
