Maui Real Estate Market Report March 2023: Will Prices Go Down This Year?

Maui Real Estate Market Report March 2023

Looking back at the last 12 months of the real estate market here on Maui, it has certainly been an interesting period full of speculation and diverging opinions about the near-term impacts that rising interest rates would have on home prices and buyer activity. Last year, many were thinking the market would drop precipitously while others believed that the bull market would continue to run.

Kamaole Beach Park II

About Kamaole 2

The excellent white sand beach at "Kam 2" extends for nearly a third of a mile. The beach park directly adjoins South Kihei Road, with parking available immediately off the roadway. People descend from the entrance down a short hillside to reach the Pacific Ocean. Maui County recently refurbished an ADA-accessible ramp to ensure everyone enjoys excellent access to this beach.

A fine covering of sand extends offshore, making this location ideal for swimming, snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, and other water activities. Lifeguards watch over the waterfront during the hours when the park remains open to the public. Nonswimmers should exercise caution since the gradient of the land beneath the water proves steep in a few locations.
